Speaking and workshops
What do we want to keep human?
Invite me into a conversation about human creativity, AI and the decisions people make in their work.
Start with your audience’s question.
Human Is the New Vinyl explores why the person behind creative work matters when output is easy to generate. VerifiedHuman puts that concern into practical standards. Through Sharp Pencil, I help people make decisions and carry them into their marketing.
Tell me who will be in the room and what they are trying to work through. We can discuss whether a talk, a workshop or a conversation fits, and agree on the scope together.
Human creativity and AI.
The book is a starting point for discussing which parts of creative work people want to do themselves, where AI can help, and how to describe that help honestly. The writing self-assessment helps a reader reflect on one piece of writing. It is a reflection tool; its score does not prove authorship or qualify work for the VerifiedHuman mark.
Practical work with reader feedback.
The Listening to Our Readers starter kit is an example of my teaching materials for publishers. It includes instructions, prompts and an invented practice dataset. The exercise uses AI to summarize feedback and asks people to check the result against the original comments.
You can download the kit without signing in. It shows the kind of practical question we can discuss when considering a session for your group.
Host pages and past conversations.
The organizers’ pages include my DigitalMediaCon speaker listing and Media Associates International’s panel on publishing in an AI-assisted world. These are retained event records; current information about my work is on the biography page.
For event organizers.
In your first note, include the audience, date, location or online format, and the question you want the session to address. We can discuss availability, format and terms before making arrangements.
Read my biography, explore the book, or find the VerifiedHuman press kit.
